Brown Rice and Lentil Casserole

3 cups chicken broth
1 cup lentils
1/2 cup brown rice
3/4 cup chopped onion
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. garlic powder (I use more)
1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or a blend is preferable)
Ginger
Curry powder
Cayenne pepper
Garlic

Mix all ingredients except cheese in baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Sprinkle cheese and cook for 5 more minutes, uncovered.
